Scientific program

The LAP2012 will serve as an interdisciplinary forum for experimental and theoretical research, and the scientific program covers Laser Probing topics such as:
  • Optical spectroscopy of atoms, molecules
  • Analysis and characterization of solid, liquid and gaseous materials and particles
  • Reaction chemistry and ultrafast phenomena
  • Development of new laser-based technique and/or lasers for probing
This will include established and new techniques, such as:
  • Resonance ionization spectroscopy
  • Resonance enhanced multiphoton ionization
  • Photoelectron spectroscopy
  • Laser ablation and desorption
  • Matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization
  • Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy
  • Coherent control and optimization of laser pulses
  • Other laser-based techniques
